2023: Plateau PDP, Southern zone recieves over 2000 Decampees and returnees in Mikang LGA

2023: Plateau PDP in Southern zone recieves over 2000 Decampees and returnees in Mikang.

Ahead of the fast approaching 2023 general elections, People’s Democratic Party PDP has continue recording huge successes in Nigeria  and Plateau State, as the Southern Senatorial Zone of the State has again, recieved over 2000 APC  Decampees and returnees back to it’s fold.
 to the Party.

Sawabiya reporters who attended the event reported that, the event witnessed a large turnout of  PDP prominent leaders, flagbearers and aspirants for various positions at verious political levels of leadership from within and outside the Zone.

Some of the Party’s leaders and Stakeholders at the event which took place Tunkus the headquarters of Mikang LGA were the season politicians, Hon Deniel Kungmi, Hon. Felix Pienswang both fmr. Executive Chairmen of Mikang LGC,  HON Peter Tongshep, and Hon. Dio Lamul who was a fmr. State lawmaker representing Mikang constituency.

Others includes, HON  Isaac kwallu who is the flagbearer of the Party for Shendam, Mikang Quaanpan Federal Constituency in the National Assembly Abuja,  AVM. Napoleon Bali ( Rtd) been the Senatorial District Condidate of Party for Southern zone seat, HON moses sule, also a candidate State House of Asembly to represent Mikang State Assembly and other Distinguish party faithfuls including two female aspirants Ms. Patience Zarah and Hon. Caroline Dafur who was the first runner-up during the state’s Assembly party Primaries.

One of the PDP aspirant who was one of the governorship Aspirants and leader of all returnees of the APC being the fmr. Chairman of APC to the PDP, Hon. Letep Dabang (a.k.a Dodo) welcomed all home expressing full hope that the party will succeed in the forthcoming elections.

Most of the returnees who spoke during their remarks also stated lack of internal democracy and non performance as their basic reasons for leaving the rulling APC.
