Governor Mutfwang's Calls for Holiness and Unity to Combat Poverty and Hardship

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has urged the Church to prioritize holiness and unity in the fight against poverty and hardship in Nigeria.

Speaking at the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) in Abuja, Governor Mutfwang expressed gratitude to God and the Church for their prayers, which he believes contributed to his Supreme Court victory. He assured the Church and the people of Plateau State that their support would not be taken for granted.

The Governor reaffirmed his commitment to bringing glory to God through tangible development, prosperity, and human capital empowerment. He acknowledged the challenges facing the state, including hunger and hardship, and emphasized the need for divine wisdom to address them.

Governor Mutfwang urged believers to persist in seeking God for their personal lives, families, communities, state, and nation. He expressed confidence that God would bless the resources in Plateau State and ensure positive results for the people.

The Governor also addressed security challenges, expressing gratitude for the relative peace in the state and calling for citizen collaboration to build enduring peace.

Rev. Dinfa Mamshal, COCIN Deputy General Secretary, delivered a sermon titled "Be Holy in All You Do," emphasizing the importance of holiness in every aspect of life.
