Bokkos killings: Mutfwang pays condolence visit to affected communities.

Peoples Democratic Party PDP Governorship candidate in Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has  condoled with the people of Bokkos Local Government Area over the recent attacks and killing in some of their communities.

Mutfwang who was represented by his running mate, Ngo Josephine Chundung Piyo arrived Palace of the Acting Chairman, Bokkos Traditional Council, who is also Saf Kulere , HRH  Lawrence Amadam Aizat in company of some prominent Bokkos Stakeholders led by Chief John Mankilik expressed shock how people could be targetted, attacked and killed in such a cold blood.

“I share in your moment of grieve, we are here on behalf of Barr. Caleb Mutfwang and the PDP family to register our displeasure over the sad incident. Honestly Bokkos, Plateau and Nigeria have lost great leaders to this barbaric attacks but God surely is not happy with the perpetrators of this evil and I pray he comforts the people of Bokkos”

Mutfwang’s running mate told the people, she is not in Bokkos to play politics but assured the people of their government’s commitment towards addressing the ugly killing that is affecting growth in various facets of the people’s life if voted into power.

“Lives are lost on daily basis,population depleted, agriculture in comatose, unemployment soaring higher, what type of a life is this”? Ngo Piyo lamented

Chairman Bokkos Traditional Council and Acting Saf Kulere HRH Lawrence Amadam Aizat who received the delegation at his palace, described the incident as horrible, also thanked the PDP Governorship candidate for identifying with Bokkos in their moment of trials.

“We’ve lost many people including traditional Council members to the heartless act”. Said Aizat.

The monarch pledged their readiness to continue working in partnership with different organization to enthrone peace in his locality saying, “Peoples of Bokkos are peace loving and accommodating, very hard-working in nature”

“Our people do not take laws into their hands, yet are being taking for granted. So, we leave everything to God”.

Some critical stakeholders of Bokkos, Rt. Hon. Titus Alams, Hon. Monday kassah, Hon. Moses Dingo amongst others who spoke in their separate remarks, called on the people  of  Bokkos to take solace in God Almighty and live vengeance into God as vengeance is unto him.

Earlier in his message to the affected communities, a Plateau elderstateman who’s home of origin is Bokkos, Chief John Mankilik wondered why those killers choose the heartless act which to him, is completely alien and uncultured to the people of Bokkos LGA.

Mankilik called on the people to remain the law abiding citizen they have been known for and prayed for the deceased souls repose.

Elder Baba Julson, chief mourner in one of the affected communities visited said, “attackers invaded into our traditional sacred places, grazed, displayed and perpetrated all manners of unguided evils .

Butura at this point, we only yarn for good governance to be able to come against this Killings.

We Urge any government that comes to power to listen to people’s security plight”.

Places visited are, the Bokkos Traditional Council Palace, Butura, Kunet, and Njukkudel in Ron Murwi and Ron Central axis’ of Bokkos LGA where it was gathered that about 13 people lost their lives in the attacks with breakdown as, “8 in Butura, 2 in Bokkos town, 1 mangor, 1 Daffo, and 1 in Tangur”.

On the governorship candidate’s Entourage were PDP State and local EXCOs led by JT Akans, former elected and appointed political office holders, women and youth stakeholders, State Assembly Aspirants and Candidates during the last primary elections, amongst others.
