The governorship candidate of the PDP in Plateau State for the forthcoming 2023 general election, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has assured Plateau citizens of his plans to fulfill the their aspirations.
Mutfwang gave this assurance when he recieved on courtesy visit, Forum of former Commissioners in the Redemption administration, 2007 – 2015).
He told former Commissioners of the Redemption Cabinet who visited him in his residence that he understands fully that the people have already taken a direction, and it is toward the PDP.
The candidate also informed the former cabinet members that he will stand shoulder to shoulder with them because their previous landmark contributions in the development of Plateau will never be forgotten.

“We will rekindle the hopes of Plateau people. In us their aspirations must be fulfilled. Our hearts are with our people to relieve them of the pain and disappointment of misgovernance since 2015.”

You are depositories of institutional knowledge. We must therefore work together to enthrone a PDP administration so that with your rich experiences, we can leave a legacy for generations coming after us.”
Earlier, Co-ordinator of the Forum of former Commissioners in the Redemption administrations, Hon Idi Waziri, informed Barr Mutfwang that they were on a solidarity visit to congratulate him on his emergence as the PDP flagbearer; to assure him of their support and to pray with him.
“We are dedicated to working toward the unity of Plateau State and the success of enthroning PDP as the governing party. We will support this cause in many ways, including our becoming automatic members of the campaign committees at our various local government areas as well as being available to serve at any other level.”
