Head of Department and National Liaison officer Strategic Communications Department of Strategic Communications, Dr. Obianuju Kanu has flagged off Door to Door campaign for Imo Women Canvassers for Atiku/Okowa 2023.

Kanu was received by the woman leader of Imo Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Imo State, Lady Maria Mbakwe, alongside other women leaders.

Ms Uju Kanu Ogoko began her charge to the women by enlightening them on the need to engage other regions in politics in other to get what they want, stressing that no body can do it alone.

She emphasized on the need for everyone to work together, noting that only a United force can win elections. She charged women to embrace unity as we approach the general elections.

She stressed that Atiku works directly with a lot of Imo people and will no doubt bring dividends of democracy to Imo State. According to her, ‘Imo women will be on the first line charge under Atiku Abubakar’s Government.’

Continuing, She urged women to utilize the materials that will be given to them to begin door to door campaign for Atiku/Okowa, promising that Imo women must contribute to Atiku’s victory in other to be counted.

The high point of the event was the distribution of campaign materials to Imo women canvassers for Atiku/Okowa.

The event had the presence of the State woman leader of the pdp, the zonal women leaders, Ward women leaders among leaders of various women support groups.
