Jos North/Bassa BYE ELECTION: APC's Drama has just began as hausa writes religious analysis.

AN OPEN LETTER TO GOVERNOR SIMON LALONG AGAINST IMPOSING ÀN UNPOPULAR CANDIDATE FOR THE PEOPLE OF JOS NORTH/BASSA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

Jos North/ Bassa Federal Constituency in Plateau State is the largest Constituency in the State with diverse ethnicities and religious beliefs but even at that the people always allow Democracy to take its cause when electing their Representative not putting ethnic or religion as a yardstick but the quality of the person.

In 1999 Hon. Lumumba Adeh a Christian from Bassa Local Government Area was elected but in 2003 he lost to Hon. Ismail Mohammed, Hon. Ismail lost to Hon. Shehu Saleh Hassan in 2007 and Hassan lost to Hon. Suleman Kwande in 2011 and Hon. Kwande did 2 terms nd lost to Late Hon. Haruna Maitala in 2019.

From the aforementioned analysis it's obvious that Hausa Muslims who are predominantly residents of Jos North nd major towns in Bassa Local Government Area like Jengre are always winning the election because of their large population and the trend will always continue like that if Democracy is allowed to take its cause.

Your Excellency sir as the bye election for this very important seat is around the corner after the death of Hon. Haruna Maitala Jengre, it's very pertinent to allow Democracy to take its cause even because of the fragile peace situation of Plateau State.

Your Excellency sir Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency deserves an acceptable Representative from the dominant tribe of the Area and everyone knows that dominant tribe with largest population in the Constituency is Hausa and among the aspirants is Abul Bassam Fareed  Hon. Gwani Muhammad Adam Alkali OON a great philanthropist with International refute and vast experience who will definitely bring a lot of developments to Plateau State if elected.

Thank you sir.
