PDP Gubernatorial Candidate in Plateau State, Barr. Caleb MUTFWANG has promised his continous love and support to the victims of the campaign accidents.

The Gubernatorial Candidate make this commitment in his remarks during an event victims to wrap up PDP ACCIDENT VICTIMS MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE’s assignment at Ampang West primary school in Mangu LGA of the State.

Mutfwang promised to continue to stand by those victims with any available opportunity within his means for as long as he lives.

He further appreciated the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji atiku Abubakar, National chairman of the Party, and other spirited individuals who might have assisted the victims in one way or the other.

“Even though the committee will be winding up its job today, if there is any spirited individual that still feels he can make any contributions in the lives of those victims, should not hesitate to contact the party or any member of the committee”

Barr. Caleb Mutfwang also prayed God’s comfort upon accident victims family, trusting God for more opportunities to alleviate their sufferings.

Meanwhile, chairman of the Committee had earlier on revealed how Barr. Caleb Mutfwang on his part, had personally spent 4million naira to cater for the victims when he swung into action to reach out to address their hospital bills before  donations came in.

Recalled, there were two devastating accident  during the PDP campaign rallies on 10th which involved 11 Persons and on 14th January, involving 68 people totalling 79 persons in number.

These Accident victims degree of injuries according to the committees report are categorized into Mild, Moderately, Severely and deadly injured.

Victims who spoke in an interview all thanked the PDP for such gesture and prayed victory at the poll .

One of the 13 people who lost their lives, Chinplang Panmun Nanle, expressed sadness but appreciated Barr. Caleb MUTFWANG’S steadfastness in identifying with them. “My husband left me pregnant with 2children” said Chinplang.

Another victim who said he was a student of Mathematics/Physics at FCE Pankshin, is currently on a wheelchair, said, he can’t wait to return to school and continue with his studies.

Kelvin Mathew on his part, also a victim who’s leg was amputated as a result of the accident, appreciate God for spearing his life, said he intends to get himself learning skills  that suits his present condition as he can not Long farm the way he used to.
