PLATEAU GOVERNORSHIP RACE: APC Popular candidate, Margif self withdrawn Party Membership

Plateau popular aspirant, under the platform of  Amb.Yohana Y.D Margif(ambubuwet Mushere) under  the platform of the  All Progressives Congress (APC), has withdrawn his party membership.

Margif, in a statement dated May 17th, 2022 stated that, his reason for the withdrawal of Party's membership is due to absence of intenal democracy in the Plateau State APC, impunity and imposition of Unpopular Candidates as part of his reasons to leave.

To further confirm his decision, Margif also reiterated his stand on Wednesday while addressing journalists in Jos the state capital but did not state his next line of action.

Yohana Margif took this action maintaining hisphilantrophical stand saying, money he paid to APC for the purchase of forms should be used as his own part of donation to Foster the growth of democracy on the plateau, Nigeria and Africa and at large and not for the APC insisting that the bridge of APC to plateau state has broken and in total collapsed

Chief Margif’s announcement comes barely two days after the ruling APC had concluded it’s screening for Gubernatorial aspirants across the country.

Recalled, on the 9th May, 2022, eighteen APC  Governorship Aspirants had accused Governor Simon Bako Lalong of planning to impose an unpopular candidate on the people.

These aspirants were lead by chief Amos Gizo, met at kalwa House, Jos city the capital of Plateau State, held press conference to collectively agreed on position against any form of candidate.

The aspirants in their submission accused Governor Simon Bako Lalong of sponsoring a particular candidate in person of Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe and planning to impose him on the Party.
