The annual mountain climbing of Rapture Gospel and Prayer Ministry, retreat for the year 2022, has just ended in praises.

The exercise which is purposely for growth, reflection, rest, to rebuild relationship of members with God as reported by this platform began since 1st of December and ended 31st December, 2022 at 2pm in praises.

This year’s mountain climbing like the ones of any other year since inception is characterized by testimonies, thanksgiving, fasting, praises, tears of joy due to marvelous things the lord Jesus has done to members.

At the wrapp up fellowship of the Programme on the Mountain, Rev. In charge of the Ministry, Barr. Pam Dyek charged followers of Chris present and all over the world to pray their possessions get to them no matter what.

According to the clergy, “God himself has opened the heavens for his people, keep praising God, he deserves to be praised. God has done mighty things”

He took reading from the Book of 1st Thessalonians 5:5, Luke 17:11 to draw the attention of members towards the need to always give thanks the the creator.

Some of the books read were, Mathew 33, Numbers 27:1 as the Reverend cautioned christians against rebellious attitude saying, “ Do not rebel against the servant of God”

Dyek further led members to prayers seeking God’s help in order not to criticize servant of God.
Members testified to goodness of God in the areas of deliverance, Revelation, gift of lives, hope, salvation, empowerment of different types amongst others .

Earlier, while giving charge, One of the Ministry’s Clergies, Rev. Danbana Reuben, reminded believers of God’s supremacy and leaving him behind is the same as leaving everything, mercy, grace, love, guidians, promotion and so on behind.

Critical history of this exercise of faith(Retreat) can be traced in the Holy Bible Mark 1:35 where it stated,
“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed”.

Currently, the ministry is holding it’s crossover service at its main hall along building materials market, Jos city, Plateau State Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the 2023 7days with the lord event is to take place from 8th to 14th January.
