GTS Convocates graduands, sought donations for State of Art Library development.

Gindiri Theological Seminary GTS, has commenced approach towards the erection of a six hundred Million, Naira 600 million Naira State of Art Library through fund raising.

Delivering his address during the Convocation and fundraising event, Provost of GTS, Rev.prof.Gyang D.Pam described 

Education as the password to the future saying, “tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today”
GTS used the Convocation event to kick start the 600million naira fund raising process.
The provost 

declared in his speech, the Seminary’s intention to have a library that can stand the test of time in order to give it’s students conducive atmosphere of learning.

He pointed that, “the students need an ultra modern library that will motivate,inspire, and rekindle research work in all dimensions in the seminary”.

Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo, President, Church of Christ in Nations COCIN,  urged Nigerians to vote individuals and not political parties in the forthcoming general elections 2023.

Mohzo admonished Nigerians to pray for the peace and progress of Land and elect credible leaders in the forth coming elections.

The Convocated graduands were over 200 in number, trained in masters of divinity, bachelor of divinity degree, diploma in theology and certificate in Christian religious education made it for the graduation.

Some of the graduands expressed joy and gratitude for the achievement made as they go into another phase of the world.

Associate. Prof. Nengak Jurji Gomos’, who served as the Convocation Lecturer, 

Described the Convocation as a celebration of knowledge, explained tasked graduands to ask for wisdom to get the true meaning of the knowledge.

“You need God’s wisdom, to get your character molded, note, the more knowledgeable, the more wisdom, character and most of all humility”.

Co-Chairman Admiral S.B Atukum Former Military administrator Plateau State, called on Nigerians to in  education project, as the importance of Library can never be undermined in education development.

Chairlady of the Convocation and Fundraising ,Ms. Rose Chundung Ndong , Executive Commissioner exploration and acreage management, expressed delight with the Seminary over the library building innitiative also called on well meaning individuals to support the project in cash, kind, partnership.

Plateau State Governorship Candidates of different political parties, Nentawe Yilwada of the APC, Caleb Mutfwang of the PDP and Patrick Dakum of the Labour Party, were all given equal chance to speak where they all pledged to be partners in the library building project.

Miskhakam Mwaghavul, Da John Putmang Hirse, described GTS as a great blessing to his domain Mangu LGA, also called on illustrious sons daughters of the land to always be delibrate and concerned about the Seminary’s state of being.

Da Hirse backed his call with donation of an undisclosed token for the development of the Seminary’s library project.

Appreciating the dignitaries turn out, Secretary of the planning committee and Chairman, program, Publicity & Protocol sub -committee Pro. Patricia Lar, tod the gathering that the project is a continuous one until the an State of Art Library is achieved on the Seminary Campus.o
