Plateau Attacks: How Angry Protesting Women allegedly sets traditional ruler's House Ablaze.

Protesting women on Friday afternoon allegedly  burned down the house of a traditional ruler of Bokkos local government area of the state, Makai Bokkos, Da Micheal Monday Adanchi.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity said, the sad Incident occurred around 12: 00am by unknown women who burned the house following the arrest of some members of the community for alleged involvement and in the recent silent killings in the area.

"The incident began at the police station where the women expressed their anger over the arrest of some members of the community, said to have gone to take some shots of the bodies killed by unknown gunmen.

 After leaving the police station, they proceeded to the house of the traditional ruler, protesting that he was a sellout. A few minutes after reaching the house, they set it ablaze, " the source said.

It was also gathered  that soldiers had arrived the area and disperse the protesting women.

 When Contacted the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Alabo Alfred, on the development, said he would call the DPO of the area and got back to our correspondent.

Meanwhile, the command had on Thursday, confirmed the arrest of eight persons in connection to the recent incidents in Bokkos and Barikin Ladi LGAs.

Another report yet unconfirmed has it that, a farmer hand in Mangor has been cought by hardsmen on his farm as at the time of filing in this report.
