former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC  in Plateau State, Chief, Hon. Letep Dabang, has been appointed to head the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, 2023 Campaign council in Plateau State.

Letep’s appointment as contained in a press statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, John Akans, was made available to journalists in Jos city, the State Capital.

The Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Chief Letep Dabang as its 2023 Gubernatorial campaign Director General.

According to the statement, “The Plateau State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the appointment of Chief Letep Dabang as its 2023 Gubernatorial campaign Director General”.

“The Director General will announce other appointments into the campaign structure as approved by the party.

The statement further states that, “ the state Chairman of the PDP, Christopher Hassan will inaugurate the campaign team in due course at the party’s secretariat”.

Chief Letep who is popularly called, The Masquerade ‘Dodo’ was a member of the PDP since 1999 until 2007, when he alongside Former governor of Plateau State, Chief JC Dariye moved in support of Late Solomon D. Lar to form  Advanced Congress Democrats ACD which later metamorphosed to Action congress AC with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as it’s Presidential Candidate in 2007.

Letep Dabang was a former chairman of the PLASIEC, Chairmanship Candidate of LP in Pankshin, SLA to senator Joshua Dariye, Chairman PDM, amongst many other political moves he had made before returning to his original home (PDP)

Letep had since been embarking on mobilization of his supporters from all those laid down political based, and bringing them back to the PDP’s fold since his returned to PDP

So far, reports online has it that, Letep  has been able to mobilize over 60,000 Decampees in Mabudi, Langtang South, Mikang, Pankshin, Chakfem and Qua’anpan Local Government Areas  of the State among others, who had to abandon the rulling APC to join him (Letep) in the PDP.
