How Nigerian police assisted a man to fix his flat tyre, rejected his 3k, said “we only did our Job”

Although, it is a common believe based on outcome of some reserches findings that, about “six in 10 Nigerians believe that the police is corrupt”

For instance , findings according to a survey conducted in 2020, pointed how, “35.5 percent of the respondents stated that most policemen and policewomen were corrupt, while 25.5 percent of them thought that everyone in the police force was corrupt”

 Just like it is a saying that, “ there is always an exception in every given situation, that is how the action of police force who assisted a Nigerian who had a flat tyre on the lonely Iseyin-Ibadan highway.

According to this report, the man had flagged many motorists for help because his jack got spoiled in the process of trying to change the tyre but none of them stopped, understandably.

The man had already resigned to fate until the good officers from Dugbe Police station came along.

These police officers didn't only stopped, but.  they went out of their way to replaced and fxed the spare tyre.

When they were done, he begged them to take ₦3,000 as a token of appreciation but they rejected with a response “we didn't stopped to assist you because of that, we are only doing our jobs". 

The three Officers are: Officer Tunmise, Officer Daudu and Officer Michael of Dugbe police station, Ibadan).
