S.A on Community Engagement moves to Unite with Housing Minister, to achieve Nassarawa Housing Transformation
In a major step towards addressing housing challenges in the North Central region, of Nigeria, the Presidential Team on Community Engagement, led by Ms. Biodun Easiet has paid a courtesy visit to the State Minister for Housing, His Excellency Abdullahi Tijani Gwarzo, to build robust collaboration on renewed housing schemes for low and middle-income earners.
The minister who received the team during the visit, announced plans to construct 500 housing units in Nassarawa State.
Gwarzo revealed to the Presidential how the project is aimed at improving access to affordable housing for the region's residents.
„ This initiative is part of the government's efforts to upgrade slums and provide adequate housing for Nigerians”. Gwarzo explained.
Abdullahi Gwarzo assured the Presidential Team on Community Engagement that most of the human and material resources required for the housing projects would be sourced locally.
According to him “This move will not only support local businesses, but will also create job opportunities for residents of Nassarawa State”.
