ORGANO BRAND IN A LEGAL TUSSLE, ACCUSED FOR SWINDLING CUSTOMERS OF OVER 200,000.000.00
The Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos presided by Hon. Justice N.D Shasheet has on the 4th October 2023 granted an order for Mareva Injunction against Gourmet Brands Nigeria Limited freezing Organo Gold Products and Gourmet Brands Accounts.
In a suit filed by R.T Yilwatda Esq. on behalf of Mrs. Blessing Nenman Tangtur who has attended the position of a Blue Diamond in Organo the Highest position ever attended by any agent of the Company claiming that she and her customers paid the sum of over N200,000.000.00 (Two Hundred Million Naira) for the supply of Organo Products which were never supplied by the company and the N50,000.000 (Fifty Million Naira) commission she is entitled to from Organo was not paid to her.
In the suit as sighted by SawabiyaNews Nig. correspondent's the Defendant Gourmet Brands who are the Manufacturers of Organo Products are alleged to have swindled the Claimant and her customers of the said sum and refused to supply the product.
It is further alleged that Organo Gold is clandestinely planning to relocate out of the Country without supplying product to the customers.
In an interview with journalists in Jos, counsel for the Claimant R.T Yilwatda, said, “it was revealed that the Court Order has been served on Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) and Zenith Bank who are expected to comply immediately and furnish the Court with the defendant’s Statement of account within 5 days”
