In continuation of his teachings on the Theme: “ADVANCING THE KINGDOM OF GOD THROUGH PRAYERS” at the ongoing yearly prayer retreat, “7days with the Lord”, the 12th edition, Reverend Dr. Nuhu Bakwa has admonished Christians to go back to the old time kind of Prayers revival which has power to subdue every kind of wickedness for the promotion of God’s Kingdom.
This phase of the teaching highlighted vividly those reasons why believers must fight their battles through prayers, giving out the steps to which they need to take in order to get empowered with the Holy spirit by been conversant with the word of God.
According to Rev. Bakwa, “believers must grow spiritually, get addicted to God’s word, release themselves to the Holy Ghost, sanctified their hearts for God to totally rule ”.
He described one who works for the kingdom’s advancement as a one who God’s Messianic blessing are upon and is been anointed in the anointing.
Advising believers to worship God in truth and in spirit, Rev. Bakwa said, a Christian must carry anointing otherwise, he operates like a car without Engine.
The clergyman countered and rebuked politicians who will promote all manners malpractices that characterises the electoral process to install a bad leadership, yet, portray it to be the will if God.
He challenged “witches and wizards to prove their strength in fighting Boko Haram, including Bandits, and all forms of insecurities bedeviling the country”.
He called on Nigerians and Plateau Citizens to be prayerful ahead of 2023 as the soil will reject Candidates who will promote satanic agenda against his people.
Some of the verses given by Rev. Bakwa for scriptural backup were, 2nd Chronicles 7:14, Acts 4:31, Psalms 39:27, 17:1 among others.
Ealier, one of the Ministry’s Ministers, Barr. Samuel Auta had described the programme been in it’s 4th Day, as a one that has reached it’s spiritual climax hence member’s sensitivity to understanding of God’s working pattern in prayer retreat programme of such.
Healing and deliverance Session
Barr. Rev. Pam Dyek on his part, had called on participants to remain in the place of prayer and expect their miracles with faith.
There were song ministrations by some gospel artists, Solomon Damulak, Obey Moses and Colins Matyek.
