Ahead of the 2023 Presidential elections in Nigeria, Women in Plateau State lead by Hon. Hanatu Bugama, under the auspices of Nigerian Women Unite for Atiku/Okowa have inaugurated it’s 17 Local Government Area and wards Coordinators to mobilize women for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s Presidential and the PDP’s victory at all levels.

Inuaguarating the structure, Coordinator Atiku support groups collegiate management Council Plateau chapter,  Alhaji Mustapha Bala Falke, promised Nigerians an end to all forms of hardship been faced as a result of the current APC’s bad governance.

“I must confess that, you people have set up the most practical and  colourful event we in the ASGCMC have witnessed so far, and I am really impressed by your effort.

While we look forward to organising an event in respect of welcoming our principal our principal, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Wazirin Adamawa here in Plateau State, I think you will be in charge of organising the event”
Falke explained.

State leader of Nigerian Women Unite for Atiku/Okowa, Hanatu Bugama in her remark, described the group as unique one because it has women fully charged and ready to go door to door, street to street and to every Conner on the state with the message, “ His Excellency Alh. Atiku Abubakar the Wazirin Adamawa/ Sen. Dr. Ifeany Okowa and vote the PDP because of their unifying strides”.

Bugama pointed that, women are out make a point by showing their capacity to lead the process and never again would they allow anyone to relegate them  to the background.

She assured ATIKU ABUBAK of delivering Women 65% of votes to all PDP candidates.

Hanatu Bugama also expressed optimism that, with Atiku Abubakar/Okowa as Nigerian President and Vice president, the teaming unemployed youths will gain meaningful employment and take their destinies into their hands.

She called on all women to take the Campaigns of the Atiku/Okowa’s presidential ticket, Mutfwang/Piyo governorship ticket and all the Senatorials, House of Representatives down to House of Assembly to every electoral units.

Other dignitries who spoke at the event were Nde David Shikfu Parradang represented by Hon. Raymond Deshi, Elder Ciroma Bashir, Mrs. Douto and Hon. Bulus Wali all applauded the women political mobilization foresight and promised to continue giving them all the necessary support.

Ealier, spokesperson of the group Hon. Lilian Madaki-Dyel had during introduction pointed that, women are actively participating in the 2023 general elections to put in place a government that will salvage Nigeria’s soul through proactive responsiveness to citizen needs, and empower themselves to increase cooperation across ethnic lines, and the attainment of more sustainable peace and development.
